New Here?
We know what that feels like! When to show up, where to park, what to wear to church, what about my kids? Take a deep breath… we’ll fill you in.
What type of church is Cœur de Grâce?
Young and old together, languages everywhere, old acquaintances, friendly faces, and everyone enjoying a conversation before the service. Our church services are contemporary, done in a mixture of French and English, to make both locals and the nations feel at home.
Take a Peek!
Do you not normally go to church? Trying to figure out what it is all about? Feel free to come and take a peek at Cœur de Grâce. Our services are easily accessible and especially geared to help you make sense of this thing called church. You can ask any questions, or just have a little peek from the back row to observe. Come and visit us any time you are in Lille!
What do we believe?
grace filled
No one can earn God’s favour, but through Jesus we may freely receive it.
word based
The Bible is God’s word and we live by its instructions.
spirit empowered
The Holy Spirit is God living with us, guiding us and leading us with his spiritual gifts.
When and where are the church services?
WE’RE MOVING! A new building and start time!
Starting in 2026 every Sunday we will be meeting in the Molengeek buiding at 78 Bd du Général Leclerc, 59100 Roubaix.
NOW WITH A NEW START TIME: tea and coffee at 10h, our service kicks off at 10:30h. Stay around afterward to meet some of our regulars and find out what we are all about. Parking is available next to the building and along the street for free.
What should I wear?
Some come casual to church, others like to dress up. You are welcome as you are.
What happens when I arrive?
It’s our aim to put a friendly smile in your path as you enter church and point you in the right direction.
Extroverts, grab a cuppa and say hi to some of our people. Introverts grab a cuppa and find a seat if you’d rather. We understand.
What language is spoken during the service?
CDG is quite international and you will find that many languages can and are spoken in the foyer, but during the worship service we will have two hosts, one speaking English and one speaking French. We hope to make everyone feel welcome and a part of the family. Worship and prayer also will be lead in both languages. Please note, our sermons are preached in English with live earpiece translation into French for whomever has need by our translation team.
What about my kids?
Bring them! We love children and families at Cœur de Grâce. We make our services easily accessible for all ages. During the service, we invite the younger children to creche, older children to our kid’s club, and every other week secondary school ages to spend time in our Youth Ministry.
Sunday Worship Service Flow
We love Family and helping the local church understand its role in the church. It isn’t a performance by professionals but a gathering of the family of God.
Our time opens with a chance for people will share real-life stories and encouragements from their week. No pressure to talk but we want to celebrate what God has done
Then we move into a time of corporate worship and prayer. We sing and pray in a mixture of French and English. During moments you are welcome to pray in your own heart language.
Children will be invited to creche and kid’s club during the worship, and youth at the end of the singing twice a month.
We will provide some quick updates and important information before the preach begins. The preaching will be in either French or English and translated to the other.
We finish with prayer and you are then welcome to gather your children.
How can I meet others and connect?
Come for coffee/tea before the service or stick around afterward and meet others who can tell you what it’s really like at Cœur de Grâce. You would be welcome to visit a life group or connect over coffee to hear more about what God is doing in our church.
See you soon!
So, now we’ve got all the details out the way. Come and find us!
We look forward to welcoming you.
